This is my favourite place to get coffee in Stoke Newington. Filter coffee is available from beans from Climpsons, Monmouth and more, and the staff are always helpful. Say hi to Bruce the dog!
Great atmosphere. Food mixed, some great, some ok. Save room for dessert that's the highlight.
Best bread within miles. Also a great place for brunch. The Hackney Wild is a classic, but the Ciabatta is to die for.
The food here is amazing; combinations of ingredients that look odd on paper but go together sublimely. An interesting variety of entertainment downstairs as well.
Really nice place and excellent service. If you are tired of waiting to be served at Cat and Mutton come across the road and you'll be served pronto with a smile and nice Italian food.
Great Spot for a good cup of coffee + good vibe too, the deli is stocked to the brim with fresh delicious produce and pastries. Try the Portuguese custard and raspberry tart... Yummy!!

Get the Ribs roll at the Rib Man. Very good value for price, super tasty. Come early to hang out with the nice people, after 9pm it's full cheesy clubbers.

Standard issue hipster coffee shop. The coffee itself is rather good, but the service is so bad, so painfully slow that it borders on incompetence. Prepare for a long wait, even if there's no queue.
