Eet het 'broodje brak' hier als je, jawel, brak bent. Maar écht alle broodjes zijn geniaal hier. "De Wolf" is na de "Brak" m'n favoriet.

Great kitchen, I prefer the menu of the day, because it's cheap (€8,50) and always perfect. Even a nice place to eat alone. Enjoy the terrace in the weekends/summer!
I think all bagels are perfect over here. I prefer goat cheese or salmon, but they are all good. Glass of water, espresso and a bagel. Perfect start for a day of shopping in Leiden.
Best French restaurant in Leiden. Go there with a bunch of people and try to make a reservation for the "burgemeester Goekoopkamer".

OMG. Sushi over here is so extremely awesome, you need to try this. It looks a little cheap to eat-in, it isn't really expensive, but hey the food is PERFECT.
The "Leidse Markt" is opened both wednesdays and saturdays, but I prefer the weekend version. Go to Ilias and buy at least three items. Have a 'lekkerbek' at the fish store around the corner.
Just for drinks, food or a cup of coffee, go to Van Buuren. Cosy hangout and affordable. They used to have a steak tartare on the menu, but it's gone :(.
After drinking beers in the city, this is where you should go for a decent pita gyros. Best in town!
