An unassuming, reasonably-priced, non-pretentious French restaurant that serves amazing food. A brunch favorite of mine for years. The La Bonne full Breakfast (12 bucks!) will leave you stuffed.

Best mussels in DC. Dirt cheap drinks (IMO). If you see Chris or Najonie (I may have misspelled it) be sure to tip them well. They make strong drinks and are awesome people in general.

Had the hanger steak au vin with green beans instead of frites. Steak was so tender and sauce so delicious!

I only came to the bar for Sunday brunch and regret not getting any eats. Everyone's plate around me was so tempting. But I PROMISE to come back soon! Plus, I'm 100% Frenchie at heart.

Sunday brunch is so wonderful. The "Full Breakfast" (I substitute paté for ham) coupled with $3 bellinis is a perfect way to start the week.

We tried multiple meals among the table. The beef Bourgogne was by far the best. Tender and delish.

You can't miss on this menu. Chevre chaud salad is great, as is splitting an order of moules frites as an appetizer. Steaks, short ribs and the cassoulet (french stew) are all aces. Daha fazlasını oku

The steak frites came out a bit colder in temp than medium rare. Actually, it was just as raw as it could be with grill marks. But, it was delicious. Sit at the bar for a relaxing evening.

Any of the mussel dishes are delicious, but you should also try the pâté and quiche!

Lamb is delicious! Beef bouillabaisse can be a bit salty. Don't fill up on bread.

Great brunch - try the omelet, the french toast and the bellinis. Mussels and escargots are pretty amazing too.

Thankfully, if you order yr entrecôte cooked rare, it's cooked til rare. Au poivre sauce is properly peppery

Brunch was disappointing. The Benedict was mediocre - overdone eggs and gloppy hollandaise served with French fries
