Iván FaríasMart 15, 2011The best way to get to the BWI aiport is to use Baltimore's Light Railway. One-way ticket from downtown Baltimore costs less than two dollars and the journey is both short and comfortable.

The airport is nice enough, but rental cars are offsite and renters are required to ride (at least sometimes) an extremely overcrowded shuttle bus to the rental facility.

Easy to access from car Park and check in was straight forward. Such an easy airport.
If everyone stands backs 2 feet from the edge of the baggage claim carousel, then everyone could see their luggage and you wouldn't be crowded when grabbing your luggage.

Have your ride pick you up upstairs on the departures level. It always is less crowded.
Jon BallŞubat 23, 2015Just a heads up ever since Jan 1 of 2015 the TSA precheck line is NEVER open on Thursdays. This is a real pain for business travelers as this is a big travel day for us road warriors.

FastPark is the key. I've tried every option on site... Car to terminal service, shuttles every 5 min, free bottled water and news paper... And it's 8 bucks. Stay away from the daily lot.

If you're a United flier, there's no club at this airport. Tough to find outlets and work space so grab one if you see it!
A very nice employee let us know there is a second security line downstairs. We were happy we took his advice because there were 0 people.
Great airport. Very efficient. Friendly staff. Never had a long wait here.

Remember to use USAA`s CDP code for the reservation. I reserved the manager's special for $17/day for unlimited mileage.
Delta security airlines were quite long for early Monday travel. They were moving quite well, but still give self 1.5 HRS at least for domestic flights out.

The best place to eat is at The Burger Joint which has a wonderful tuna burger
Kids play centre including tanker, airliner and tug is located at gate D7. Looks great.
Taylor PashkoffMart 24, 2013If you're flying southwest, the terminal is great! The diner there is the best. You'll never be bored!
Check out Silver Diner if you have 45 minutes to an hour. Neat place!
Brand new C concourse is in operation, but don't walk all the way down there expecting anything to be open.. All the shops were closed by 9pm... Had to go all the way back to A, just to get a water.
If you aren't TSA Precheck approved, I recommend signing up. It's wonderful! Bypass the lines, leave your belt and shoes on....love it!
jamesEylül 22, 2013If you're traveling Southwest, go through security area C regardless of gate. A little more walking but the line is about half as long.
Pack efficiently! Make your laptop, toiletries, and shoes easy to remove so security keeps moving. Your fellow travelers will thank you!
