There's not much here, but if Dismals Canyon is closed,you're looking for a hike, and the water is low you can walk behind the dam and hike down the creek. Great scenery and wonderful for a dog.
There is a $10 shuttle available here that will take you downtown and bring you back. That's cheaper than parking downtown!
The attached (enclosed in the winter) patio with separate bar and roaring fireplace add a really nice touch to a really cool decor. Pro Tip: The bar has hooks for a lady's purse or an atomic wedgy.
The late afternoon (4pm-ish and on) is the best time to run into other dogs here.
You'll never believe you're in Cullman here. The decor in the bar is chic-sophisticate and the food is DELICIOUS. Enjoy.
