Love this airport one of my favorites - amazingly well organized - security check at gates is brilliant and makes travel a joy - Charles de Gaulle and JFK could learn a lot from this airport.- This is how any airport should be. Modern, quick check in and luggage drop off. Also security to the gates went like a breeze! Love it!
My Destination AmsterdamEkim 11, 2011Why not visit the Rijksmuseum in Schiphol Airport, it's free and located in the passport control area between piers E and F. It's really great and you can see works of art from the Dutch Golden Age.

Swen GrahamOcak 2, 2015KLM lounge is upstairs and the best place to kill time between flights but there is also a casino if that's your thing.
Make sure you can use the priority lane as it saves you a ton of time. #klm provides this option relatively fast with their frequent flyer program
PreciousOcak 16, 2019This is the cleanest airport I’ve been in hands down. Don’t forget the check out the food court if it’s not close when you arrive. The bathroom are soooo clean
The NS ticket machines here take Apple Pay, so it's one of the few places I've found to load € onto the OV chipkaart without a chip & pin credit card!

Take the train, located right under the airport. Buy your ticket in the big Schiphol plaza. Quite reliable, 10 minutes to amsterdam central, 17 to Leiden CS, 30 to Den Haag, take Fyra to Rotterdam.

Big and clean. To get an Uber you need to get across the street and it might be a bit confusing but everyone will help you out.

Andrea Bravo BaladoEylül 3, 2012Next time you arrive to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport and want to take a bus, first look at the screens with info right in front of exit doors. You'll save a lot of walking looking for your bus number!- When you landed and feel too tired for public transport i recommend to go upstairs to departures 3 and take a cab from there. The fare price will be 10% off.
For lunch buy a freshly baked roll in the bakery section and a warm meatball in the butcher's section in the the Food Village Supermarket behind Starbucks for one of the best meatball sandwiches.

Offers 1 hour free wifi + the famous "folan el folany u r delaying the flight, immediate boarding plz at gate X".. This is perhaps the second largest hub for transit flights i've seen after Heathrow
This is a big airport so going to the baggage hall and arrival hall can take minutes. Also, picking up your baggage can take time because 3 flights share one conveyor belt.

KathleenEylül 14, 2013Go upstairs toward the lounges and follow signs to Mediation Area. There are lounge chairs you can sit in and put your feet up. Also, nicer toilets I'll here near BA lounge and showers.
One of the best airports in Europe if not the best. Pretty well connected with any city in the country

Алла ТрапезниковаOcak 27, 2018Какой он огромный! Сколько тут разных людей! Как муравейник. Много зон для курения, магазинов, кафе. Все интуитивно понятно и просто. Даже пишут сколько идти до другого терминала в минутах.
Добраться до центра Амстердама (площадь Ляйдспляйн) можно и на автобусе 197 за 4 евро, ехать 38мин! Очень удобно - выходите к автобусам, платформа 9, автобус ходит по расписанию!

Además tiene un mall en el primer piso!- Huge airport, we’ll laid out for being an international hub. Some of the gates are far removed from restrooms & food courts so plan ahead.

The train to Rotterdam only takes 25 minutes and rides 5/hour if you want to experience something different from Amsterdam
