Go crazy on the apps with the raw beef, quail and meat, hummus with meat, and the traditional Armenian ravioli dish. Mind blown. Stomach full. Amazing place for din or lunch and wonderful staff ;)

Came to Almayass with a group of about 30 friends from school and we had an outstanding time. Highly recommend this place for large gatherings. Service was friendly and attentive & food was excellent.

Great Armenian food. Highlight was pine nut hummus. They give free pita for the table. Spinach mantee was good but smaller than expected.

True gem in NYC! This is one of my girlfriend and my favourite restaurants. Can't beat the experience or the food. Try the beet hummus.

Excellent Food, Beautiful Environment, Delicious Food, Ask for Roy who knows the menu inside out, and recommends the best! Friendly, Efficient Staff! Clean, Museum Quality Art on its walls! Great!!!

I have to say it: why are the tables so high relative to the chairs?! Also, don't listen to other reviewers: the mixed grill is a differentiator. Apps are fine but on par with Mideast fast food

get the mantee [under hot mezze]. smells like lasagna, scoops up like pebbles and tastes like crispy beef filled croutons. service is on the super slooow side during lunch.
