There's little connectivity on the island, so turn off you iPhone or else your battery life will be depleted by the time you return to SF.

don't listen to the civil war reenactor. heres the jist: don't smoke, don't touch the bird, and go to the top of the rock for your audio tour.

Really a very cool audio tour. The place is eerie! I've heard night tours are even creepier, but tix are more difficult to get.
