Before disembarking, make sure you use the bathroom, as the bathrooms on Alcatraz Island are not very reliable.

They just do not scan the Tickets. So you can buy one online, print it, cancel it and have a ride for free!

BUY YOUR TICKETS IN ADVANCE. Otherwise, arrive at 6:15 and try for the few reserved tickets. We were probably 30th in line at that time.

If you miss your boat bc of traffic or something they will give you a pass at the ticket office to get in the standby line for the next tour.
