Yarn Lam: Popped by the Crown Jewels early and by the time I came out, the queue was twice as long and snaking around the courtyard.

Yarn Lam: Try taking a river cruise and taking a photo under the bridge instead of from the shore!

Yarn Lam: Fascinating gallery right up top, with glass floors hurhurhur. Ticket gets you into the engine rooms a short walk away as well.

Yarn Lam: Explore the whole ship! The wax figures inside really gives you an idea of what a sailor's life was like.

Yarn Lam: Egg pots are for breakfast I think. Meatball lunch box was quite ok.

Yarn Lam: They've cleaned up the toilets and yes I can taste the difference between a mocha and a cappuccino. Not too crowded and good for people watching.

Yarn Lam: Came in here just cos it was raining, and was pleased with the taste and portion of the noodles. Fried tofu tasted great too. Thumbs up!

Yarn Lam: Be prepared to hike up a steep hill, but the view is rewarding.

Yarn Lam: Don't just see the Prime Meridian! There's lots of history of clocks and measuring time here. They will announce when actors perform in the Octagon Room, keep a lookout! Very funny.

Yarn Lam: Free admission. It's fun to get one of those little white cards and collect your stamps and scans around the exhibits, even as an adult.

Yarn Lam: It's only £2 for a return journey! Short ride to Watford Junction.

Yarn Lam: Small little heritage centre, free admission; the policeman guide was really friendly and showed us around the exhibits. He even brought out artefacts to play with! Get Scotland Yard souvenirs here.

Yarn Lam: See the Queen's coaches and horses here! There is a cheaper combined ticket with the Queen's Gallery nearby.

Yarn Lam: The quieter outlet in Suntec City. Alfresco seating available, though I wouldn't recommend sitting outside when it's sweltering...

Yarn Lam: The first LEGO Certified store in S'pore. Get sets here that are not available in other S'pore LEGO stores.

Yarn Lam: Along the middle path from the main archway it is lined with square stones. Stand along this line behind the stones and you will get a good view of the guards cantering past after change of guards.

Yarn Lam: Small museum that gives big insights into the magnificent Horse Guards. You can put on their uniforms to take pictures too!

Yarn Lam: Large selection of tea and various confections.

Yarn Lam: Get the cod and chips, and a seat next to the window, and watch the crowds come in.

Yarn Lam: Try their different tours other than the Grand Tour. Went on a special Behind the Scenes tour and got to look at the bowels of the RAH. Guide Christie was wonderful and accommodating.
