Tiny German spot in the East Village where we go for cheap eats and beer. All of the sausages here are great, but we love the namesake currywurst the best!
The currywurst is good, but the Kaese Krainer is amazing; I mean seriously, a cheese filled sausage??? Also have some great hot pretzels with a solid beer selection to boot. Chilled out vibe.

The currywurst has a slight, nice spiciness, more than you'd find in Germany. Down some with a glass of Schneider Weisse and get there early in the evening if you want a pretzel. They sell out.

Not just currywurst (which we better than I expected, with tremendous fries), but great and unexpected draft beer and a very cozy space... and near many music spots so good pre-show place Daha fazlasını oku
this place is tiny, so you're better off getting your currywurst and fries to go and eating them at int'l bar. however, the great selection of beer here is a reason to stick around.
