This place is great. Feels like being in Mexico City (particularly while walking upstairs, lovely food scent). Food is well priced for Melbourne. Everything was tasty and authentic. BTW, I'm Mexican.

Best arancini I have had, the Cavatelli is amazing. Great for sharing and the tira mi su comes out for you to serve yourself.
Sancerre by the glass, red duck curry, sticky black rice pudding. If sharing the whole snapper, ask for it to be served before the curry so you can eat the more subtle first without curry going cold

Authenticity. The yakitori here is excellent as is the o-cha zuke. This is what Japanese people eat when out. Private dining tables available. All the staff are/were Japanese. Can you find this place?

Really good soft shell crab. The salmon sashimi with coriander sauce is a blast. Finish the dinner with a scoop of pineapple-shosu sorbet, astringent and refreshing. A bit pricy but very good service.
