Haddock and chips are excellent. Get deep fried anything, but the twix is especially good. Excellent selection of beer, ale and ciders. The place to go if you want to watch football (soccer!)
Try 'Awestruck' a great cider on tap. The fish & chips delish + must have. Owner is true Brit & the locals are a mix. Come during soccer & really have a blast #BklynMust #foodie #LongLiveTheQueen #NYC
Sports bar with bar and table seating. Casual, divey spot featuring a heavy stench of fish. Union jacks for miles! $7 beer and shot special Friday nights.
Get the haddock and chips. Duh! Also, don't forget to check the bathroom. For old school Brit pop and rock lovers, very informative newspaper collages in there. Just saying...
Enjoyed the no frills atmosphere. Was very satisfied with the haddock and chips, curry chicken and Chip, and scotch egg. While at it.. Have yourself a ginger beer... With alcohol.
Park Slope's Chipshop stands alongside the West Village's A Salt and Battery as an establishment that slavishly attempts to re-create the English fish-and-chips shop, with awesome success. Daha fazlasını oku
Best fish-n-chips this side of the pond, and superb place to watch soccer in BK! Owner is an Arsenal fan (top man), so the Gunners can usually be seen there. Need one of these in Clinton Hill!
Everything here is fried and their beer selection is above par. If you're in NY and you DON'T try this place, you need to be flogged immediately. If you bring it, they'll most likely fry it.
Order any way you like, just don’t call them fries. Over-the-top orders come decked with everything from steak and kidney pie to baked cod and curry chicken.
Anything fried is possible at the ChipShop where they are frying up everything from pizza to bagels with lox, on Food Network's Outrageous Food with Tom Pizzica. Find more tips at FN Local. Daha fazlasını oku
Get your fish and chips on, or maybe get the shrimp and share with a friend. I'm told this place is authentic because it smells like a "chippy" from the U.K.
The Atlantic Chip Shop is a traditional British pub with a twist. It is the place to be on match nights. They are an official NY Red Bulls & Major League Soccer pub!
Brooklyn concotion is just as it says...interesting; however, very yum. Goes well with the fish. Ps: I got mine baked for a slightly (and I mean slightly) healthier meal.
6 Nations Rugby Championship will be shown here. There's two locations in Brooklyn, both commonly filled with ex-pats and of course fish and chips lovers. Kitchen opens early with full menu.
Reading all the tips has made me realize that people in Brooklyn have never been to Manhattan. Leave your borough and you won't find all this food so incredible. This place is decent.
Better pub than restaurant. Fried cod is good, but not quite right: batter was too dense, and not flaky, so it overpowered the fish in flavor and texture. Tartar sauce all pepper.
