Order the eponymous ramen made with a combination of cooked & toasted noodles that float in a coconut milk broth. There are also some traditional bites like edamame, gyoza, & spicy pickledcabbage. Daha fazlasını oku
With its unconventional ramen, Tabata may be a love it or hate it. This is the Sutamina Ramen - spicy miso & soy sauce flavored noodle soup w/ pork, leeks, scallions, garlic paste & egg.
Tabata's namesake dish intertwines Burmese and Japanese cuisines. The broth is a combination of soybean and coconut, which is then topped with spicy chicken, red onions, flavored egg, and cilantro.
I and my husband opted for ramen, our daughter had a rice with fried chicken and some sauce and everything was sooo good. Really I probably come back to New York just because of this noodle soup.
Always a solid choice for a meal in this odd part of town behind Port Authority. The Tan Tan MenRamen is always a good choice as well as the Takowasabi. Read about my visit on WinstonWanders below! Daha fazlasını oku
Great quick lunch spot. The sutamina ramen was not the prettiest bowl I've ever seen but the combo of soy and miso broth is fantastic with the crunch of scallion.
Although I felt like I was cheating on Ippudo, I was thrilled with this less crowded, less expensive alternative near my office. The ramen is also delicious. The spicy "Lava Men" is my favorite!
Dark Men: This garlic-infused black sesame broth is rather alarming but it slurps up mellow and porky, with the scallions providing highlights. Daha fazlasını oku
Good, reasonably priced ramen and other Japanese dishes. Get the Tabata ramen ( their other ramen dishes are good, too, but this one is special.) non-ramen dishes are good too.
AMAZING. Best ramen AND rare authentic Burmese. Makes me miss my mom's home-cooked Burmese food. Love the garlic noodles (Sichet khao sware) and coconutnoodles w/chicken (Ounoh khao sware).
Toto a few blocks away .Better ratings ... But line @ 7pm was a mile long Happy here ... Pork broth perfect for me Lots of meat in ramen There's a 64oz pitcher of Sapporo w/chicken wings for $18
You would get better ramen for almost the same price at Ippudo or Totto Ramen... but at least here there is minimal wait, which can make all the difference. Overall good ramen though! (Tonkotsu Ramen)
Mi reino por plato de ramen de este lugar, es increíblemente delicioso y lo mejor para un día de turismo cerca de Times Square. Estuve en Japón y el sabor de este lugar prepondera.
A great addition to the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood. The signature Tabata Ramen is a must-order - it includes spicy chicken, plus a coconut milk and soy powder broth.
Don’t miss the sesame-flavored tantan mien, the porky kyushuu, and the simple, salt-flavored shio ($8)—the Asian grandma’s answer to Jewish penicillin. Daha fazlasını oku
Village Voice is proud to welcome Tabata Noodle Restaurant to the 2014 Choice Eats food fest! http://bit.ly/1cRzdNV.Here you'll find some spicier renditions of traditional ramen.
The tabata ramen has a nice and creamy soup base made with chicken broth and coconut milk. Eat the noodles fast because they get soggy really quickly :(
RS says: Try the Tabata Ramen. It "features cooked and toasted ramen in the same bowl, with a novel broth thickened with coconut milk and soy powder and Chicken nubs w/ raw purple onions."
Pretty good! Service was quick, though they enforce a $5 minimum per head. Shouldn't matter if everyone is eating. My dad loved the "hellishly spicy" one. (3 of 4 petals via Fondu) Daha fazlasını oku
