United Customer service at EWR is horrible as usual. On the other hand, the customer service at the lounges are very competent and execellent.
The air train estimate to arrive in 30 minutes is to the first terminal or parking garage, headed 3 terminals over, tack on another 15 min.
Awful airport. If through some unfortunate reason you have to change terminals, be prepared to go through security...every. single. time.
Samsung has sponsored some power charging centers so you recharge your gear while you wait at gates at terminal A
Erika TaitKasım 24, 2019Seriously difficult airport — flights always run late. It’s very disorganized, gates change, etc. avoid it if you can.
if you are running late and have bags to check, use the porters at the curb.
Do NOT take Newark airport bus to city. Shady company and always delayed. Train is same price and always onetime!!! F$&K the Newark Express Bus!!
Pretty nice airport. Take a shuttle to or from the city or Dial 777.
Security line today was fast but it 5:15 am. Normally this is the slowest airport.
Don't bother rushing to baggage claim - they certainly aren't rushing to get your luggage there. Expect to wait upwards of 30 minutes for your luggage.
Deff try the sandellas food stand in terminal A by gate 26
Terminal B serving gates 41-47 has poor food choices. Eat before going through security.

New Boar's head deli opened in Terminal A. Decent food.
Landed at Terminal B due to high winds. The most delayed flights in and out of Newark. The TSA needs an attitude adjustment.
Welcome to EWR. Give yourself plenty of time to get through security!
Take the AirTrain and skip expensive cabs. Avoid evenings during the weekend though.
Try to avoid driving/parking if possible, but if you use the economy lot, allow a LOT of extra time as the shuttles run a bit sporadically.
You're never lucky if you're delayed at the airport, UNLESS you're in Terminal C. Stop for a pour or two at Vino Volo wine bar.
Avoid the bad food here and go to terminal A fresh market for great healthy options.

Power converters are overpriced at gadgets express, brookstone is cheaper and you get an entire kit!
They don't have helicopter flavour crisps, just plane ;)
Lexie TriceOcak 13, 2013Ugliest airport I've ever seen. Arrive early because security lines are always ridicules. Terminal C is best. Never fly American Airlines.
Why isn't there free wifi here? Come on, New Jersey! Surely there's something in our crazy taxes that could cover it.
What you would expect from an airport in New Jersey: inefficiency, bureaucracy, rudeness, and obesity.
