Thomas M. • Şubat 24, 2017Been to the SD zoo dozens of times over the last 50 years. Always amazing, the zoo is constantly upgrading exhibits. Arguably one of the top five zoos in the world!
San Diego Zoo • Mayıs 20, 2011We received our 1st koalas as a gift from Australia in 1925. These fuzzy marsupials are not bears, and not as cuddly as you think. They're actually independent, feisty, and often grumpy.
San Diego Zoo • Mayıs 20, 2011The Zoo’s adult male giraffe, Silver, is more than 17 feet tall. With such a long neck, it’s surprising that giraffes have the same number of vertebrae that we do—each one is just much bigger!
Victor M. • Mart 17, 2019We love it!!!
Katie M. • Mart 29, 2011Fantastically designed exhibit with multiple places to watch the gorillas from. Such a lively bunch.
Theresa M. • Temmuz 18, 2011Get here early the flingos are very active!
Miriam G. • Ağustos 14, 2014The snakes are amazing and beautiful.
Mike B. • Ekim 1, 2014Great sight line. Friendly staff. 🐘
Miriam G. • Ağustos 13, 2014The hippos both hang out together in the armpit of the underwater section of the enclosure. Great for a selfie with the beast!
Chacho H. • Kasım 15, 2011Amazing jewelry, great art books (some say the best selection in San Diego), and a superb gift selection. Not a bad place to drop some cash.
Cherie D. • Temmuz 20, 2010Bring a push cart, the art, hand-made clothing, blown-glass and woodwork was phenomenal. I highly recommend this center full of artisans.
San Diego Zoo • Mayıs 22, 2011The Lost Forest is home to a wide variety of animals, including our bonobos. Bonobos were not identified by scientists until 1926. Before that, they were thought to be another type of common chimp.
Sean M. • Aralık 28, 2014Excellent museum! They have added so much since my last visit years ago. A must see for any aviation enthusiast!
San Diego Zoo • Mayıs 20, 2011Tigers each have their own unique stripe pattern, like our fingerprints. A tiger’s claws can be up to five inches long, and they use them to mark their territory with scratches on trees.
Erin M. • Nisan 1, 2013Beautiful! There was a 30-60 min wait but it was so worth it. Don't forget you can only see pandas in 4 zoos in the United States.
San Diego Zoo • Mayıs 20, 2011Mangabeys, mandrills, and guenons, oh my! There are 7 different species of monkeys along Monkey Trail, and they are always busy grooming, playing, eating, sunbathing, squabbling – and watching you!
San Diego Zoo • Mayıs 20, 2011Our orangutans share the exhibit with another primate species from Indonesia, the long-armed siamangs. If you’re at the Zoo soon after it opens in the morning, you might hear the siamangs hooting!
