It is hard to believe they were build inside of France gov office. And allow non member entrance, in such a quiet, usually only member club style aura. However, most books were in French. Facepalm..

One of the best bookstores in the city. It's a cozy shop but it is well curated with a knowledgeable well-read staff. Especially good for fiction, travel and design.
