    Get a reservation for the bar so you can see Mr. Nakazawa make your sushi in front of you. If you eat in the dining room his understudies actually make your sushi. It's all ridiculously delicious.

    Sushi Nakazawa is the 10-seat omakase restaurant from former Jiro Ono-apprentice Daisuke Nakazawa. Sushi Nakazawa serves omakase tastings paired with sake, but plans to introduce an expanded menu.

    The Sant'Eustachio of Omakaze. No matter how bustling your day has been, this establishment forces you to slow down so that your palate can appreciate each heavenly detail! Arigatou gozaimas!

    Phenomenal meal! Definitely do the omakase and get the sake pairing. Love the detail they put into everything. Chef Nakazawa is awesome and so fun! Definitely gonna treat myself to another meal soon!

    Very. Very good quality sushi. From service, choice of fish, cuts, freshness, size, portion, balance between rice vs fish, rice, knife work... Superb! Well worth $150

    Beautiful space, and the meal is enjoyable even if you can't get a seat at the sushi bar. Lots of great sushi pieces, a couple a bit too bold with extra spice and flavors. Worth it though!

    No tip other except to effuse 'arigato' after your best meal ever. Best handroll of all time. Nakazawa-san is on top of his game.

    omakase, sit at the bar. DO IT! nakazawa-san is OK with pictures! service style is similar to that of sukiyabashi jiro (where he apprenticed for 11 years). many local fish & wed/thur Uni is available

    They get their uni on wed and thurs. All were delicious but few stood out... uni, sea eel, scallop, geoduck, tuna hand roll

    Absolutely a must if you are a sushi lover. The best use of yuzu I have ever tasted. Beautifully done scallops. Cheers to the chef!!
