    I went here for brunch & ordered the baked eggs w/polenta. I also had the delicious buttermilk biscuits which are a must with the apple butter. Try the French toast w/fresh whip cream & apple mimosa.

    Kale salad is a must. My favs included the Pork Sticky Rolls, Bluefish Rillettes w/ caviar and the Poached Shrimp in the smoked almond milk...just amazing.

    Some appetizers had odd flavor profiles (peach gazpacho - YUM, but lose the rock shrimp || ricotta with honey - GREAT, but lose the gooseberries). Penn Brook Trout was amazing, as was the sorbet trio

    NS has quickly become my favorite spot for brunch and lunch in the East Village! Try biscuits with gravy or jam and a side of crispy bacon for breakfast. Can't beat the M-F lunch check in special ;)

    Try the oyster snack! Raw oyster topped with creamy bacony chowder and Brazilian hot sauce. Beef tartare starter also rocks! Watermelon starter (w/ uni vinaigrette) was also a favorite.

    Incredible, seasonal produce-driven meals foraged from local greenmarkets. Plus, the East Village's best brunch. Always get the kale salad. Pay with Cover and skip waiting for the check!

    Awesome brunch, started with the Kale salad which was delicious, then split the cornbeef hash (wish I had a entree of that meat it was like butter) and the chicken and egg sandwich. All great!

    The food is very good. You can order anything and feel confident that it will be freshly prepared and well seasoned. We had the French Toast and the Corned beef hash. Can't wait to go back.

    Best duck fat french fries! An east village eatery that never disappoints. This $6.00 order comes with a delectable dipping sauce. We come here whenever we get a fried food craving!

    No liquor license here so you're working with an extensive wine and beer list. Pork dish, kale salad, and ricotta starter were excellent. Don't miss the coffee custard.

    We'd say the brunch menu left the whole table satisfied, but we've yet to stop dreaming about taking another bite. Delicious is an understatement. The kale salad with baked eggs is unparalleled.

    Some fry connoisseurs turn their noses up at potato wedges, but the duck-fat fries will have even wedge-haters drooling. They're fried in duck fat (duck fat!!) and perfectly crispy.

    best brunch in the hood - definitely get the biscuits w/ homemade jam to start, slow whisked scrambled eggs with bacon, and the deliciously fresh green salad. top it off with a cucumber mint spritzer!

    the crispy pork skin on the Hudson Valley Pork dish is wonderful. the lentils & green beans compliment this amazing dish OR try the Braised Lamb Shoulder, it will leave your belly happy. very happy.

    Our favorite restaurant in the 'hood. Amazing local American food. Kale Salad, heritage pork, and a must-have rotating dessert. Everything on the menu is good and seasonal.

    Amazing biscuits, served warm with delicious jam. My go-to is the kale salad (add eggs). For non-alcoholic drinks, their flavored seltzer drinks are pretty refreshing.

    Great little nook for brunch/breakfast/lunch. Had the kale salad with squash and the fried chicken biscuit (just like back home in the South). Even the music was delicious!

    Fabulous spot. Split the kale salad as an app,it's large and delicious. The pork with polenta and Brussels sprouts was amazing. Great for dinner anytime.

    The sweet onion & beer soup is light and tasty- the red cabbage, pine nuts, and croutons give it a texture. Try the flatbread too!

    Try the Warm Squid Salad - just overly tempered and perfect for what it was...and the tiny bits of bacon hidden in the salad were a great accent to this simple salad

    Instead of getting the larger dish of meatballs, get the smaller one and a side of flatbread. Makes for a more balanced meal, and both dishes are delicious. Try the homemade blood orange soda!

    Try the kale salad, then crave it constantly. They make a sandwich that has chicken and a poached egg and they are so skilled, that even when delivered 12 blocks away, it is still composed perfectly.

    Solid brunch option. Kale salad (and I hate kale) and BEC are both great. Bloody Mary's are spicy but very heavy on the celery taste.
