Yarn Lam: Great hike but do be considerate with your photo taking. Don’t hog a scenic spot for 30 minutes being a poseur when others would like a photo there too.
Yarn Lam: Hip new cafe with interesting food! Try sitting at the counter by the window to people watch. The raspberry tart was rather good, not too sour.
Yarn Lam: Highly recommend the tour, book in advance. Guide was Barbara and she was so nice and welcoming and knowledgeable. If driving, they will give you little bottles to take away the tasting whisky.
Yarn Lam: Carbonara was good and we had a nice half and half pizza as well. Seafood linguine unfortunately had the fresh pasta all clumped up during cooking but the staff were nice enough to waive the cost.
Yarn Lam: Loch Ness Centre has been newly renovated for £1.5m! You’ll learn about the myths and science of Loch Ness as you go through a series of rooms watching an interesting story unfold. Try to spot Nessie!
Yarn Lam: Download the audio tour on your phone to explore the ruins at your own time. Fairly interesting movie at the visitor centre with a surprise at the end!
Yarn Lam: The breakfast was very good! Saw a queue waiting for the cafe to open before 9. Banana caramel toast had loads of banana on crunchy toast with cinnamon and sugar.
Yarn Lam: In depth history of the Jacobite rising and the culminating battle at Culloden which ended the war, arrive early before your guided tour to walk through and explore the exhibits!

Yarn Lam: Shelves that go on and on and on! Excellent selection of books and games, plus the Scottish section on the ground floor really consolidates all that is great reading on Scotland.
