Kazakh cuisine is not something common in KL. The menu has horsemeat which makes it very exotic, but it might not be available during CMCO. Try the shorpa and manty. Suits the Malaysian palette.
Sarawak favourites here. Basic setup. Sarawak laksa is thick and quite delicious. Their thick bihun is smooth, and has a good texture. Kopi is decent. eWallets accepted.
Climb up the treehouse, grab a lawn chair underneath a parasol, and enjoy the experience of sipping a flat white surrounded by plants. The coffee is good, and goes well with their banana bread.
Prices are above average, but the quality is good. The chaat platter is good to start with. A mixture of crispy appetizers. Lamb briyani is also recommended. The lamb is not gamey and the rice is good
Spacious and bright cafe. Customizable all day breakfast where you can choose 7 items from 5 categories (MYR39). I like their scrambled eggs and Bavarian spelt (a type of bread). Long black is good.
A comfortable place to chat over a cup of coffee, with greenery all over. Kinda like dining in a greenhouse. The place is split into several sections. Coffee is decent. There's also a bar.
The grilled pork and kimchi soup is pretty good. Good varieties of banchan. Spacious and interior is bright with natural sunlight. Less crowded than their competitor located further down the road.
Kuala Lumpur's most expensive pedestrian bridge with a price tag of MYR31 million. The bridge is 68m long connecting Lorong Saloma (beside Public Bank HQ) with Kampung Baru. Sirih Junjung design.
Split into a bar and dining area. Ambient lighting, popular with couples. Surprised that the price point is mid-range. The beef curry rice does have a good aroma, but I could use more curry.
Their selling point is their flavoured coffee beans. The additional aroma does not come from syrups but is infused during the roasting of the coffee beans. No extra charge for flavoured coffee.
Attached to Lorenzo furniture shop. Indoor and outdoor seating. I liked the Guinness beef bowl (can't taste the Guinness though) and the mushroom umami pasta (has a nice spicy kick).
The lunch sets here value for money, especially the ramen (donburi also available). Comes with three side dishes and tea. I prefer the tonkotsu over the miso. The latter is too sweet.
Great place for a coffee stop. Coffees are all sub RM10, quite a steal. They specialise in sourdough, but I didn't try. Handmade ice cream is RM8, and quite a big scoop. Connected to an organic store.
The proprietress is extremely friendly. Menu is varied. Seafood is quite fresh. Liked the salmon ikura don. Mentai yakiudon is lightly stir-fried, feels more tossed. Teriyaki wings too sweet and dry.
Great cafe for an express lunch. Mushroom risotto is nice and creamy. Prawn and clams spaghetti is al dente and has a good kick of spiciness. Food served hot. Free drinks and ice cream.
Marmite pork ribs are good. Interesting deep-fried pork belly with loads of garlic. Hokkien mee is soggy and has the taste of boric acid. Choi Pou fish fillet is also recommended.
Spacious cafe with a good selection of non-halal mains. Piggy and Shrooms is a plate of pan-fried pork chops with salad. Succulent meat, quite tender. Latte comes with free colourful latte art.
An interesting place to hang out in Cyberjaya. An arty place with lots of open spaces, bare concrete, greenery, and metal. The Treehouse area is a collection of stacked cafes and shops.
Rare to get pork in a hotel dim sum restaurant. Cart style serving. The steamed items are up to standard. I was impressed with the Wu kok and chin tui. Well-executed.
Tastefully-decorated place for tea. Pinewood theme. Small selection of macchiato, milk tea, and cold drip premium teas. I like the white peach oolong macchiato (RM9.90).
Classy restaurant. Signature fish pot starts at RM98. Coffee pork ribs are pretty nice. Three cups chicken is a bit different because the chicken is fried. Liked the spinach in fish soup.
Accessible near the Usuzan Ropeway base station. It's a volcanic lava dome that appeared after an eruption in 1943. Tripods are prepared for visitors to take the perfect shot of Showa Shinzan.
The hot cham c is very thick and quite flavourful. Goes really well with the Marie biscuits that they gave. The cold kopi c needed some assembly. Pour the hot coffee into milk yourself. Not strong.
Accessible via a underground walkway from Suria KLCC. Online tickets for express access. The highlights are the fish column, 90 m long underwater tunnel, and large arapaimas. Feeding times at 12 & 3pm
The croissants have a really fantastic texture. Salted egg yolk croissant is good, not too overpowering. And I like the caramel pudding croissant.
Cafe with food, coffee, booze, and chocolate bar. I tried the mocha combo that came with a piece of artisanal chocolate, shaped like a nut and bolt. Amazing details.
