This is our “local”, and we love it. Some of the best burgers anywhere. Kenny, Linda and their team are the most wonderful hosts. My go to: gin and tonic, plate of chicken tenders and a side of veg.
Modern, clean design. Spacious rooms. Good breakfast and dinner/bar. Alewife station close by. Only drawback is that there is nothing interesting close by/walkable.
The peameal bacon sandwiches at Carousel! And their Portuguese egg tarts. Great meats and seafood all over the market. And St. Urbain Montréal bagels. The best.
Wonderful handmade gnocchi with wild boar and mushroom. Fabulous salads and cheeses. One of the best tiramisu’s in Toronto!
Fabulous papaya salad and Penang curry! Also their duck entrees are out of this world!
Funghi pizza with roasted garlic and Gorgonzola! Rosemary focaccia. Nicky, our server, was super!
Roast duck noodle soup here, with thin egg noodles, is the best you can get in the ‘burbs! Love this place. Chinatown quality without having to run into the city for noodle soup.
Love this restaurant. One of our favorites in Chatham. Sam and the team are amazing and friendly. Pastas are wonderful, seafood is incredible (especially the scallops), and flan for dessert...perfect!
Everything was fabulous, but the anchovy toast (with drizzled melted butter) was incredible...especially with a glass of Vermentino!

Everything! Amazing brews and great wine. The scallion pancakes with bone marrow and stewed beef was the best starter I’ve ever had. Spectacular service and atmosphere.
Sizzled brussel sprouts, pad Thai spring rolls, wood fired anything and veggie grilled cheese! Everything was fabulous and so was the service!
Love this place. Best pho broth for miles. We come several times a month. Their flank, rough brisket and tendon pho is the best. As is their broken rice with spare ribs.

Love this hotel! Lovely room, great view. Staff is the friendliest of any in France. Definitely worth the price.
La Samba is a fabulous baked potato dish, smothered in yummy onions, bacon and Camembert cheese, then some cream, and baked again, and served with salad. Perfect on a cool spring day!
Staying at Le Grand Hotel du Palais Royal, and this is the restaurant here. Really fabulous European breakfast/brunch. Impeccable service. Quiet and relaxing.
