Sunaina: Tucked away in Brooklyn. Look for the feather on a big black door. Dimly lit and a perfect setting to sip on some prohibition era drinks. Their version of old fashioned was perfect.

Kathy Matthiesen: Go upstairs to the Japanese restaurant and go left through the unmarked door. Quiet, intimate, and great drinks. Loved the Smoke in Your Face whiskey cocktail - it's exactly what it sounds like.

Chelsea Renaud: Cocktail bar that’s unpretentious enough that you could walk in on for a casual drink and the big charcuterie plate, but vibey enough to continue a date night. Drinks made to your taste + Back Patio

Hal Mackins: Fantastic drinks, particularly the Steady Cocktail. The staff are also very accommodating: without a reservation, they were able to sneak us in for a birthday drink despite a very hefty waitlist.

Paris Taylor: If you're looking for a good thin pie with spacious indoors and outdoor seating, a slight grunge vibe, and over a dozen beers on tap, AGBG is the place.

Marion: The venison and antelope merguez sausage is dynamite. They also have over 100 beers on tap and the bartenders are super knowledgeable, so try something new!
Chelsea Renaud: This is about as grungy as Park Slope gets, meaning it’s a tiny bit edgy but mostly clean. Come for the open-air space, stay for the beer selection and pinball machines. Bonus: they allow dogs.
