This is where you'll find my favorite roast pork sandwich, the Arista w/ broccoli rabe, long hots and sharp provolone. It may be sacrilege to say, but this beats out DiNic's for me.
Order the Tartufo (black truffle, egg & fontina) and the Pepperoni (abbruzze). They are both fantastic in their own way. This is one of the best pizza joints in town.

Look no further. You have found the home of the best cheesesteak in Philly. You have to go to Roxborough to get it, but it's so worth it. I get mine with provolone/no onions.
The reconstructed pie is always amazing and get the corn & potato soup to go. In the winter, it's all you're going to want.
Best cannoli in town. I always get them with the vanilla filling. Perfection!
You'll find some pretty amazing fried chicken and corn bread here. It was a complete surprise for me. A night of dancing, beers and their chicken will put a smile on your face.
Order the Whiskey King Burger topped with foie gras, bacon and bleu cheese. Get it with a side of duck fat fries. So worth it!
One word: sausage. The leanest, spicy pork sausage you'll ever have. Not a bit of gristle to be found. Order it with the homemade saccatini in vodka sauce. Also, save room for the limoncello cake!
Excellent craft beer selection that you can enjoy while playing the arcade games of your childhood. Nothing else in Philly quite like it.
Go on Sunday for the best Indian buffet you're going to find in Philly. Also, amazing lamb vindaloo, chicken tikka masala and gulab jamun.
You can't go wrong with the Dan Dan noodles. I always order them and get the cold noodles in chili oil to go for later if I'm having "one of those nights."
You can't go wrong with any of the hand drawn noodles. My go-to is the hand drawn noodles with pork soy sauce. Cheap and delicious.
Best doughnuts in Philly. Don't try and fight me on that. Salted caramel and banana cream are the best. Pretty good coffee too. Only open Thurs - Sat.
