MAC: Apart from mee rebus/siam & nasi kunyit, the home-baked cakes are great! Guy at counter is friendly, calls all ladies as "dear".

MAC: Hassle-free place to park if going to Msian High Commission!

MAC: Good butter naan & rojan kosh! Very spicy

MAC: Tastes good but underwhelming amount of seafood platter, Zuppa. Meant for two pax, it's mostly clams & mussels

MAC: Softest dum briyani rice in Singapore! Portion is enough for 2 people & topped with thin naan. Tasty!

MAC: With the chicken lockdown fron Malysia, half a chicken now costs $16 and one whole chicken is $32. Crazy!

MAC: Long queues at Cheng Heng Kway Chap and Shima's Kitchen for lunch. Surprisingly, New Lucky Claypot Rice wasn't crowded at lunch hour.

MAC: Penang fried kuay teow is pricey at RM7 & the wait is long at peak hour. But tastes good, with "Wok hei" (fried smell)

MAC: Good mee pok at XO stall, facing carpark. Priced $5 at typical Newton range. Can get cheaper equally good versions at other hawker centres

MAC: Small bank that can get awfully crowded on Saturdays

MAC: Excellent creamy soft cakes, freshly baked daily in their own bakery upstairs. Durian lovers, go for the durian cake

MAC: Recommend the wingbean salad, small and crunchy. Not overly sour sauce

MAC: Cold & hot desserts at stall 01-13 is very good value for money. Generous portions priced between $1.40 - $2.20 on average
