Hotel only offers valet parking, for $32/day (plus tips). The valet will park your car in the multi-story directly across Columbia St., which charges $15/day if you do it yourself.
The rooms are comfortable and with the usual Westinamenities. There are a many curtains, so if you prefer a very dark room have a mask ready. Breakfast buffet is excellenand except for the pastries.
Forget the valet parking, park in the lot across the street on Columbia (it's where valet parks your car). $20 across the street, $40 to valet i the same lot.
In-room Wifi is $13/day, or $40/week. Seems to be per device, too. It's free for hotel residents in the lobby only. Should be free, room rates already high for a hotel needing refurbishment
Rooms are a little tired, overdue for a refresh. Not up to the usual Westin standard (though still better than many). Still a Westin from a service level perspective, thankfully.
Travel a fair bit and this #westin has a lot of room for improvement. Room is hot (AC sucks - no pun intended), every employee you ask a question to seems like you are bothering them!
You booked on Hotwire? Congrats, fair deal. You laid the first price? Damn, wifi costs ridiculously much, rooms are decent but not great, pool looks kind of sad.
Manager Amy Beck needs some additional training with her customer service soft skills. Rolling eyes at a customer, who wants to give the hotel money, should never be part of the hospitality experience
'Double' rooms are literally two double beds, not the typical two queens. They will provide a rollaway bed on request at no charge, subject to availability.
Breakfast at the hotel is pricey for distinctly average food and selection. There's several other choices nearby, like the Grand Central Cafe at 500 Broadway.
