TheDL: Try some of the craft drinks like the root beer and slushies. Plus this (see pic)

TheDL: Zane & John are mint; as is their product.

TheDL: They've got a marina if you're coming into SD via the sea.

TheDL: Better acoustics on the right/back side of bar with high top seating. Big comfy booths on the left/front side of bar. First come, first serve tho

TheDL: Make a reservation for the CA Tower to get some neat SD history. The view isn't bad either!

TheDL: Nice to get out on the water on any of their larger sail boat rentals.

TheDL: Check out Happy Hour Monday thru Friday...even on Labor Day (waiter said HH falling on any holiday M-F)!

TheDL: Good for a quick sushi bite + drink. They always have a good deal on a drink(s).

TheDL: Fun staff here. Sandwiches are good regardless of location in my experience.

TheDL: Veggie Delight is $5.50 here. Good amount of veggies. This location can get crowded and the line can be slow even outside peak times.

TheDL: Servers on skates. What's not to like about that. I like the #1 or Ft Long Chili Cheese Coney w/a Limeade. Root Beer Float if feeling extra indulgent.

TheDL: Mobile betting is nice (only if you're at the track). I like not having to get up to fight the betting crowds :)

TheDL: No reservations. Get here before 8a. I had the Breakfast Jambalaya. Good portion; lots of shrimp and sausage. A little heavy on the garlic. My chocolate milk was too small.

TheDL: Get a cabana. If the pool gets rowdy or the sun gets too hot you'll have sanctuary. But the pool area is so intimate here you'll still feel part of all the action.

TheDL: King Arthur's all the way. Good SD craft beer selection on draft too.

TheDL: Some great insight into San Diego/Balboa Park history. Make a reservation tho. It also gets you into the Museum of Man exhibits.

TheDL: Very friendly and knowledgable staff. I don't understand the exorbitant prices tho.

TheDL: Only thing missing here is a view of the ocean. But after one slice of pizza and a beer you'll forget about wanting to see the water!

TheDL: The outdoor areas overlooking the massive Koi pond. Tranquil despite the lively buzz going on inside.

TheDL: I like the staff, including security and I've never seen it too packed to enjoy yourself. Some good partial views of the ballpark too. Fire pits nice on cool nights too.

TheDL: Excellent sandwiches. Almost always worth the "gourmet" prices. I enjoy the comedic commentary at checkout too.

TheDL: Unapologetic about beer done right. Your taste buds will thank you.

TheDL: Outdoor dining with yummy menu items, both food and drink.

TheDL: Best place to relax, take in some sunshine, people watch, enjoy dogs being happy, feel a jetliner fly overhead, have a picnic, exercise...you get it.

TheDL: Take time to smell the roses.

TheDL: Only been here for private events after hours. Would like to see it in full swing!
