Get there early on busy days as this is one of the most popular rides in the park and queues can get extremely long
If there is a queue for tables (and there often is at weekends) make sure you get a raffle ticket to secure your place in line

Has steadily improved over the past few years. Quality and durability of exhibits now much better. A great place for kids of all ages to have fun while learning some basic science principles
Refurbished Feb 2016. Now excellent for kids with a well laid-out set of exhibits. Get there early to book a tour of the Collections Centre. Only real disappointment is the mediocre limited restaurant
Old world luxury but very dark. The most expensive rooms have internal wrought iron staircases and an upstairs bath and shower room. Set in an extensive country park
A tiny coffee shop with only a half a dozen or so cramped tables inside. But don't be put off. The coffee and cakes are excellent and the service from the staff is first-rate. Recommended
Can get busy at times but a decent selection of food options and generally a clean and pleasant place to stop off during a long journey
