Matt: Such a pretty and easily navigable city. Everything I visited was worth it. The prison, mound, marx toy museum, Riverfront park, Bobs, and Quality Bakery were all fantastic.
Matt: The mound and museum were very cool. I really liked seeing Moundsville from the top of the mound. The diarama's inside were very cool. The marble exhibit was very interesting too.
Matt: Donna was an excellent tour guide. Really enjoyed the tour, very interesting and informative. Very detailed, you really get to see a whole lot. All the prisoner art work wad very fascinating.
Matt: A lot more interesting than I was expecting, there were so many cool toys. I really enjoyed the hands on demonstration we got to watch too. It was neat seeing Brad Paisley's toys too.
Matt: Such a cool place. So pretty. Would definitely recommend the inside tour. So much talent to make the palace. Plenty of signage to find it from the road.
Matt: Oh my goodness, those mad dog donuts were so good! The cream was excellent and the donut part didn't taste overly greasy or excessively sugary. I want more!
Matt: My hot roast beef sandwich was excellent and very filling. The gravy was very good. The mashed potatoes were very rich and creamy. Really enjoyed eating at an older Moundsville establishment.
Matt: Very nice hotel. It is very new and clean. Everyone was friendly and the continental breakfast was very good. I'd definitely recommend it if you are visiting Moundsville.
Matt: Wish we had had more time to explore everything on our trip. We loved the two playgrounds especially the tandem swings so we could swing with our kids
Matt: Loved learning about the Fostoria glass company where my great grandfather worked. The upstairs movie was very interesting too. Besides all the glassware it has a lot of research books and tools too
Matt: We enjoyed walking through the shops. Parking was free on Saturday. Everything closes and 5:30 and Sunday it's completely closed. Valley Cheese was my favorite
Matt: We had a blast! Every display was cool. Well worth it, took over an hour to see everything. Be sure to find all 10 girls hiding in the exhibits. Go to the gym basement for the largest lego image
