So I've been here a lot while staying at The Modern. You can't go wrong. Surprisingly, this place has my favorite American breakfast (eggs cooked perfectly). Dinner: try the gyoza. Awesome Mai Tai.

The omakase is very good although I suspect you could save by ordering a la carte dishes and sharing as the a la carte dishes are bigger. Good selection if sake

Cristina BehrensEkim 27, 2010Morimoto's (of Iron Chef Morimoto fame) has just opened in Honolulu. Had an amazingly memorable meal there. Try the oyster foie cold appetizer, toro tartare, and the black cod. So good!
