Tasty cheap food. Dimly lit. Bar, booth, and table seating. The stairs are a bit precarious, but this remains one of my favorite cozy bars.
My all time favorite bar in Raleigh. Amazing drink specials. My favorite food option is the London Broil with additional green peppers.
Pimento cheese & fried green tomato sandwich or the tuna salad in a tomato are always delicious!!

The London broil is wonderful. Gentlemen, make sure to use the loo before you come though. Not the best facilities.

My old school NCSU days hangout! Got to love the chili and the throwback decor!- Ask for Lynne as your waitress. Really great personality and service!

- Noway JoseOcak 15, 2010Avoid the veggie melt. As a lifelong vegetarian, I couldn't even choke it down. Its a 3/4" thick slice of eggplant, a zuccini sliced in half and warmed bread with a half melted piece of cheese.
- I like the veggie melt. But then again I'm not a vegetarian. Or a vagina.
