One of my favorite, if not my favorite, wine bars in the city. They'll open any bottle of wine as long as you get at least two glasses. The cheese selection is never disappointing!

I love this bar. Great snacks (meat and cheese), great happy hour, and GREAT staff. I hung out here alone with a book the other evening and it was lovely - not many places can pull that off!

The handmade chocolates are a great treat. You can't go wrong with the caramel sea salt and the Aztec spiced chocolate is fabulous as well. Oh and the wine selection is also fantastic.

The most perfect place. I'm in love. Amazing cheeses, staff was so friendly we kept getting refills for our plate and just great atmosphere.

Tried the whole eel - quite good! Very different at least, not the usual Japanese prepared eel. Great playlist here, some of my favorite indie songs

Great wine list & house red. Roomano (hard, orange, nutty) is a favorite off-the-menu cheese.

One of the best wine bars in NYC. You'll never go wrong taking your date here. Order a Pinot Noir, sit back, and enjoy the surroundings.

Nice spot to grab wine and chat. Long bar is good for couples, not groups. Happy hour until 7:30pm

Great HH deals on a glass of red or white wine. Also, a very reasonable selection of charcuterie as a snack!

Good wines, but felt ignored by the sommeliers. I enjoy learning about different wines while tasting. Oh well, there are many other wine bars in manhattan.

Kick ass wine bar with stellar happy hour (40 bucks gets you a btl of wine & plenty of snacks). $1 oysters Sunday & Wednesday (arrive early, they run out)

Don’t feel overwhelmed by the 150-deep wine list at this dark-wooded bar. Approach it with confidence and be ready to mingle over cheese, chocolates, and charcuteries with a Bordeaux!

Prosciutto a disappointment. Jerky like chunks instead of the melt in your mouth goodness I, personally, was hoping for. But the lovely staff and service make everything okay. Vino is bueno also.

Vera is a wonderful vinho verde on the happy hour menu. Order it anytime, though. Very effervescent and light.

Enjoy wines around an oval bar. Happy hour has $8 glasses of wine, beer for $7-$14 and cheese plates for $12. Go for the wine!

One of my favorite wine bars in the city. Happy hour is killer ($26 btls, $8 glasses, $12 for 3 meats/cheeses). And come on Sun or Wed for $1 oysters!
