The view while on the wooden rollercoaster of the ocean! Gorgeous. You pay per ride, so there is no park admission fee. :) If you want to walk the boardwalk after, go towards Pacific Beach--prettier.
The sun on the water is gorgeous. The view of the coastline is probably my favorite place on Earth. Peaceful, mellow, and so Southern California! :)
