Zack ThompsonEylül 24, 2016The gym is pretty nice, and has the newest gym equipment for lifting weights to getting on a station bike and going on a tour through Paris. I did 25 minutes on the bike and feel great.

If you want a real cardio workout, try out Joel's Bodycombat class every Monday at 5:30pm. You're sure to torch the weekend calories!

Best trainer there is Adam Malis! And he teaches spinning tues & thurs nites & sun morns & he does boot camp at downtown golds! All are amazing! He changed my life!
The staff here is incredibly friendly and kind. Good equipment and a clean gym.
If you are new to LA, changing gyms and want a great place to work out, come on down, ask for Ray Stone, then mention my "Shout Out" blog post to him for a great deal!
The earlier you get in, the better. Also, if you want to tan at night, expect to wait a while. Love it here. Great staff.
Thus gum is unsafe they do not have enough free weight clamps for the vars. The cleaning team vacuums and moos by your feet when lifting heavy weight. management dies nothing even after complaining
Test TestMart 13, 2012Did you know you sign a contract the relieves Gold's of ANY ACCIDENTS even if they do not maintain their equipment and it breaks and you get hurt? READ YOUR CONTRACT.
Instead of paying for food service, you can buy famous quality "Greenleaf" premade food for your diet. Lattes here are good and cheap but not my preference.
I love Gold's from their friendly staff and members to motivate me cuz they are in such good shape.
Between the boxing classes, hip-hop classes, and jazz classes I'm here 6 days/week without fail. I have a hard time even taking saturday off.
- BrieHaziran 26, 2017Scammed out of money, hundreds of dollars. Word of mouth and contract apparently do not match for personal training, and I am being punished for it. DO NOT recommend if you care about your finances.

Silvio is the best trainer! He definitely knows how to get results!

Honestly, Golds is a great gym, however, they seriously have the worst wifi & network availability out of ALL gyms in LA. Come workout with an iPod that doesn't require connection to anything. Shitty

Try the boxing class on tues or thurs at 8:30 pm. You'll get cardio done, learn to box, and have fun too!
Always a good workout here. Try not to get too aggravated at the poor cleaning crew who seem to always be mopping/sweeping/vacuuming out on the floor 24/7.
No time for lunch? Get a Peanut Butter Dream with extra protein. Yum
Been going here for years. Just seems like there is no better gym. Wish the opening hours went slightly later
They started walking around and handing out towels to whoever needs them. Awesome!
Just get yourself in the door and you'll be working out in no time. Desire to workout almost by osmosis :-)

I prefer this gym over 24hour fitness, not as crowded, cleaner, weights always are where they belong...
