From 1885 to 1887 Fulham used the Eight Bells pub as their changing rooms whilst playing at their home ground at Ranelagh House which is situated near the Thames.
In the summer of 1891, we moved to our first enclosed ground behind the Half Moon pub in Putney. At this time, crowds began to grow sometimes numbering a thousand.
Fulham Football Club played on the site from 1886-88, when it was known as the Ranelagh Ground.
In 1883, we were playing matches as Fulham St. Andrews here but this was our second ground we played matches at.
The first ground we ever played at was on a piece of land at Star road near to this church; 1879.
In 1885, FFC played most of its football on the space now known as Putney Common on Lower Richmond road before moving on to Ranelagh House.
Our home, on the banks of the River Thames, since 1896. Making us the oldest professional Club in London.
