Lovely pond refurbished thanks to the local residents group. Sit by the pond with a coffee from Black & White Coffee company outside palm2 and count the ducks.
Two great cafes, one in white house on top of hill, the other by the river Lea in valley.
Not really a 'zoo' but there are deer, chickens, pygmy goats and some somebirds in the middle of the park
This is an important palaeolithic site. Artefacts were found from the ice-age period when Stoke Newington was a small settlement by the river.
Lovely park that contains a zoo, a BMX track and the former site of a gas works, see if you can spot the nautical theme in the layout of the park
now the towpath is finished and view reinstated, we have to fight development on the far bank.
A great place to escape the bustle of the city and so much quieter than the other green spaces in London. Also looks beautiful in the sunshine...
