This place is airport awesomeness. Local coffee. Free wireless. Comfy seats and usb and plugs aplenty. No security lines.
One of my favourite airports. Small without being sketchy, and good food available if your flight is delayed. Almost never a line for check-in or security.

Jason SorensenMayıs 16, 2019Currently under construction and renovation. But the main operations of the airport remain in full effect. Good array of charging stations and power outlets.
There is only one bar/restaurant past the gate until the construction is done. Even then it does not open before 8am. So if you’re on an early bird flight, there’s a grab and go shop.

CID offers both free wifi and remember to look under the seats in the waiting area as most have electrical outlets. Good move CID!
The security is quick and friendly. Parking is convenient. Never had a problem here.

Marty HallTemmuz 5, 2015Pastries good TSA Pre is supposedly express so you have to take out laptop but today I was told TSA Pre was suspended...expect to take shoes off and get more checks.

This may be Hawkeye country....but the Jet bridges all have ISU ads inside....Go Cyclones!
Susan KingOcak 26, 2014TSA electronic ticket scanner was out of order for 4 weeks over the holidays! It's fixed now but they have nothing to do except hassle people who are known travelers! Wow! Pick on someone else!

Things are changing at CID, certainly for the better.
The power ports are great, but they really need to do something to upgrade the free Internet- it's never once worked correctly for me.

Wifi is always slow and clunky so if you have work, download before coming to airport. Appreciate it being free.

They may offer free wifi but I don't think it's ever worked for me. Stick to your cellular connection and you'll actually be able to do work here.

There are signs stating free WI-fi, but I am unable to connect...
Front door to gate in 12 minutes. Can't beat this airport.
Dropping off Husbeast for a work trip to Dallas, Texas. Check- Stick with american airlines our delta... united is fine on a normal day, but understaffed & a nightmare when there are delays/cancellations

WiFi is painfully slow, no infant changing tables in the restrooms and the overhead speakers. Why are they SO loud?
