If you prepare and follow the well laid out path it's excellent. Smooth security and great customer service.
Try the lovely big massaging chairs in the departure lounge - you should never pass up the opportunity for a chair massage in my opinion.

Brewdog at Gate 15 is good, but give yourself extra time - lots of renovations in check-in right now means it’s taking an age!

steglobalEkim 5, 2013AIRLINK coach is the best and only option to consider to get into the city centre (30mins). £6 for return trip, free wifi onboard the coach and plug sockets to charge your phone too. Perfect.

Katie FramptonMart 23, 2014They want you to pay to use a locker to charge your phone. No thank you. You can usually find an outlet behind a rubbish bin. You have to sit on the floor, but better than paying £1.50 for 30 mins.
To avoid the scandalous £1 fee (£5 after 10 mins) to drop off / pick up, use the FREE dropoff area. Keep to the left lane, and take the first left after you pass the Spitfire. Almond Road. Daha fazlasını oku
Go to park and ride and park for free if you are waiting for someone that way if flight is delayed you don't pay more than £1 in drop off pick up. Get them to ring you when their bags have arrived.
Domestic arrivals is probably the worst you will find in the UK. First you have to fight your way through the entire departure lounge, then 3 flights of stairs - no escalators.
Michael BrowningAralık 30, 2020Incredibly illogically laid out, made to walk miles for what should be shortest of journeys. Overly commercialised, inadequate seating. Dictatorial staff. Dreadful security area. Worst airport in UK- Domestic arrivals is the worst you will find in the UK. You have to fight your way through the entire departure lounge, then 3 flights of stairs no escalators.

Greatly improved airport overall. Easyjet self-tagging for bag drop is shocking. No queue management whatsoever.- Eat have great breakfast. Yo Sushi for for everything else. Bookshop is WAY overpriced but that’s not a surprise to anyone.

Early flight into EDI? Grab a coffee before leaving to collect your bag to save queuing at the Costa in arrivals. Is worth the wait though. Fast service
Rebecca MAğustos 12, 2017Wow. Security was some sort of fantasy of efficiency. Points off though for the officious way I was selected for "random" security screening. Boarding the plane felt like a prisoner transfer.- There is nothing good at all about this airport. If you use it once you probably won’t notice if you use it regularly you’ll quickly despise it!
Body scanners now actively seeking out Middle Aged white business men to balance out their profiling of young Asian men. Quite amusing.

eDreamsNisan 16, 2012If you're travelling with unprocessed film, you should know they can be safely examined by x-ray machines without suffering ill effects.(It was previously advised to check them in).

The security staff are so rude; definitely in need of training in interpersonal and communication skills. They created a real sour end to our trip to Scotland.
Best value food are the £1 sandwiches at Boots, can't go wrong!
EAT is the best value place for breakfast here. Prices same as their High St shops and good service. No rip offs. Only £1.40 for big cup of tea.- Edinburgh Airport makes flying a truly miserable experience whether you are arriving or departing, it’s all equally bad.
There is some good shopping airside, world duty free, mac, Kurtz Geiger, boots, dixons.
