Great place as long as you don't fly united airlines! Their customer service is very poor!

Only international airport in the world that can't be accessed by public transport?
Finally the Aerotrain is up and running! If you in D, consider a walk to C to ride it over the mobile lounge.
If you have to get on the people mover, move to the front and don't jam up the back so others can get on
The only place I know of where you can get Chipolte for breakfast!
Tip: If you're riding in coach class, then please don't use your Louis Vuitton luggage... It makes you look funny. Save your money and use your Coach brand luggage.
Thomas MEkim 12, 2013Security check can take a very long time. There is NO fast lane for business or first.
Free AT&T WiFi, but don't try to do too much...signal is spotty. Good luck finding an outlet to charge your devices.

try security far from United. Lines much shorter
First time flying US Air out of Z gates. No food or drink other than Subways (yuck!) but they're just past security (seating is limited though).
Not a big fan of IAD! Takes forever to get to from DC and once here it takes forever more to get to the gate! DCA is the way to go!

Diamond security, opens just before 5 am- right by arrival gate 5. Quick through security.
Long walks between terminals. Especially C and D
Bronwen JonesKasım 15, 2013Free wifi. Avoid united airlines. Leave plenty of time to get to your gate - you will need it.
Horrible. Security lines are long & disorganized-even if you have Premier privileges-and once you finally get thru, you have to take a tram and then walk the length of a marathon to get to your gate.
