If you like architecture, this is a wonderful tour. You can take all of the photographs that you like which is a plus! There is no furniture iside the home; this is an unrestored plantation house.

GORGEOUS PLANTATION/HOME rich w/ African Culture. Sacred African Slave Cemetery on grounds (a must see). Be Respectful of these graves. Natural beauty, unrestored. Perfectly preserved.

Join the Friends of Drayton Hall and The National Historic Trust. The Preservation magazine that comes with the membership is great, plus you get free admission to Drayton and other historic sites

The $17 charge includes a house tour, which only happens on the hour. So if you're arriving at quarter after or something, and don't want to wait around, you might want to buy a different pass.

It's actually pretty expensive for the house tour. It's a neat house but every room seems the same. No furniture and it's not restored so you have to use your imagination. Tour guide is enthusiastic.
