All sandwiches pale in comparison to the Pallet... it's that divine fig jam. Also, the servers are notoriously spacey so double check your order before you leave.

This is the only place I go for coffee and breakfast in union square now. Their freshly squeezed Oj is so worth it.
Rachel EdelmanTemmuz 6, 2013The best egg and cheese sandwiches! Try it on their rosemary bread (instead of a bagel).- The coffee here is quite good, doesn't even needs sugar to enhance the flavor. Try one of their specialty drinks, or have an iced latte in the warmer months.
If you're a Comcast customer, you can pick up the free XFinity wi-fi, and avoid Bloc11's silly pay to use wi-fi.- Unlike sister cafe Diesel, Bloc 11 always has an open seat somewhere. Sadly, the Brazilian limeade (featuring condensed milk) is no longer on the menu.

Chocolate chip scone and an El Diablo (Intelligentsia). Works for me.
Curry tofu salad sandwich is very good. Bowls of soup are quite generous - perfect for sharing.
