Avoid Sunday morning flights except if you are travelling business or you are an Etihad Guest program silver/gold member ... also do online check in and avoid lackage

They have turned the airconditioning to full. Better get ur self a shawl or some jacket :)
Overcrowded airport not really adjusted to the traffic increase witch took place in the last years . May be comfortable for Ethidad Business Class passengers but bad for Economy passengers .

Good court takes foreign currency aud and usd don't need to exchange downstairs
Тут очень очень холодно. Совсем мало кафе. При длительной пересадке выдают талончики на завтрак-ланч-ужин, по которым в одном из кафе можно неплохо поесть 👍 Везде ловит wifi

Bigger toilets and plenty more toilet bowls at the ground floor Terminal 1.

Don't talk to anyone asking you for a TAXI the way out of the airport , they are not authorized by Abu Dhabi taxi company, just ignore them or report them to a airport police. There is airport taxi.
