REVIEW YOUR BILL!! I've gotten my check inflated $1 or $2 compared to price listed on menu. Fishy! Other than that, 5-stars on the food. Garlic aioli with fries = amazing. Def love the garden seating.
We had brunch. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Looks like a great place to buy fish and gorge on oysters. What struck me was how nice the staff was. We'll be back! ...More

Village Voice is proud to welcome Anella to the 2014 Choice Eats food fest! http://bit.ly/1cRzdNV. They have a wonderful backyard patio which makes for a great outdoor place to have a meal.
Very easily ate here gluten free. Happily had steak & eggs. Frittata was wonderful!!! This place is adorable & so yummy. Also the bacon is extra thick! #glutenfree
We had pretty much everything on the menu and it was quite good. The gnocchi is a significantly smaller portion than the rest of their dishes. Really cute atmosphere.
To say the food was amazing is an understatement. You're stupid if you don't eat here. Get the gnocchi and burratta. When they bring you bread in a flowerpot, ask for a side of bacon jam. Orgasmic.
The pork belly biscuit for brunch was nuts. The cauliflower salad was a nice bright contrast to what has to be the most delicious pork belly I've ever had, and I don't even like pork belly much.
Buffala, pork belly with lentil and the panne cotta - well prepared & perfectly portioned. Left satisfied, didn't feel like I overate making this a great place to eat before going out.
If you want to feel like you’re in Italy, drop by Anella’s flower-bedecked backyard some summer evening, far enough north on Greenpoint’s Franklin Street to feel like you’re on the frontier. Daha fazlasını oku
Pretty much my dream neighbourhood restaurant. Seasonal menu changes frequently. Atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Attentive staff. Always a great time there.
Great place in the very north of greenpoint so there is rarely a wait. Too expensive though. $25 for chicken. Got the Skate for $24 and it was delicious.
You basically can't go wrong here. Personal favorites (at least on the current menu): Spring Pea soup, burrata, and gnocchi with mushrooms. And don't think about leaving before you have dessert!
The lamb ragu papardelle is delicious. The smaller size is perfect for medium hunger level. They bring out very tasty fresh baked bread to start off your dinner.
Fantastic, fresh, & extremely flavorful dishes - brunches are excellent w/lots of in-house baked goods; dinners are exquisite; the bar makes yummy, innovative drinks w/seasonal ingredients & herbs.
The menu's always changing, the prices aren't gougey, and there's plenty of outdoor seating. If you can't snag a table here, grab a drink at The Diamond and check out their sister restaurant, Calyer.
Ask to get a fried egg on your BLT. It's not on the menu with egg, but they'll happily do it! Also, get a biscuit on the side. Buttery and fluffy, crispy on the outside perfection.
Greenpoint gem. So good, great date spot. Worth the wait to sit in the garden if it's nice out. I usually never order chicken at restaurants, I did and it was fantastic.
With the warm summer weather approaching, make use of Anella's pergola-secluded seating instead of dealing with a table precariously situated on a sidewalk.
I might be a d*ck for mentioning it but they didn't honor my newbie discount, after asking about it. That said, the service was attentive and the food was great.
Way Greenpoint and quiet on the street. Inside this neighborhood gem a vegetable paradise awaits, with wine and service to match. Meat, too! Daha fazlasını oku
