Directly north of San Francisco, Sonoma Valley is easily accessible and full of incredible wine, food, and gorgeous scenery. Here are our picks for the best wineries, restaurants, and sights.
Nicole Meier: Wonderful cafe located in the center of the Plaza. Omeletes and salads were delicious as well as the mimosas, which you can enjoy in the beautiful patio in the back.
Adrian Phillips: Excellent wine with tastings and visits by appointment only. The crowd is relaxed with plenty of places to sit on a hill overlooking the vines. Absolutely recommend becoming a member.
Matt Bernstein: Everything on the menu was amazing. You really can't go wrong. Some of our favorites were the arugula salad, bone marrow, and filet mignon sliders. Great wine too!
Bikash Mishra: Great place for brunch in wine country. Excellent biscuits, tasty deviled eggs and some delicious fried chicken. Come hungry, leave happy!

Danny Sauter: The East Ridge trail is a bit more challenging and bypasses most of the Redwoods. If you want a shorter trek full of mammoth trees, stick to the Pioneer trail.
Steph Lira: Came here to wine taste with a group of girlfriends and thought the service and wines were terrific. The cheese and wine pairing was delicious and our host did a great job teaching us about the wines.
Sara Taylor: Lots of outdoor, dog friendly seating. Different tastings to choose from and delicious snacks to munch on. We liked all the wines we tried!
Meredith Blechman: Sit down for a farm-to-table meal, or shop their prepared foods to pick up for a picnic. They have a great coffee bar. Also sell beer, wine, and home goods!
